Past Mission Trip's

Past and on-going mission trips!

Gerber, CA

MissionTrips/Nov1.JPGWith just a handful of workers, the street fair was a GREAT success.  The Lord had me preach totally different that I normally preach.  I preached the love, blood. and power of the cross.  I preached an extremely strong message of commitment.  All but a few people came forward and asked JESUS to be their Lord and Savior.  We are now doing follow up on all of them.MissionTrips/Nov2.JPG

Marty served hot dogs, chili dogs, etc. and there was plenty of new and used clothes for everyone.  Two sisters flew from Minnesota bringing a puppet stage and did puppets for the children.  Their puppet show led many children to the LORD.  They were truly a MissionTrips/Nov5.JPGblessing to the ministry and they gave us the stage and the puppets.

New York mission trip:
Missiontripsept2010/Skit.JPGOn our very first day 12 people received the baptism in the Holy Spirit and several others did as the week progressed. Every day we had a barbeque for people on the street where we had the opportunity to share the love of Jesus. This continued all week long. From 10 a.m.-2 p.m. every day we gave out fliers and witnessed.

Jesus loves the little children:
Missiontripsept2010/Autoharp_and_puppets.JPGOne day we had a puppet show on the streets. We had a nice sized crowd. Approximately 40 children and a few grown ups accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior.

Womens shelter:
Missiontripsept2010/Gifts_at_Womens_shelter.jpgThere are thousands upon thousands in New York City that live on the streets. These are ones whose lives have been shattered and broken. Missiontripsept2010/Gifts_womens_shelter.jpgThese are the ones who have no hope and many of them even commit suicide. God put it on our hearts to minister at a women's shelter. It houses 200 women. They live on the streets all day but can come in for a bed and a meal in the evening and return for lunch during the day. We went there at lunch time and gave each lady a nice bag of toiletry items, and then we shared the love of Jesus. Approximately 35-40 ladies received Jesus. We took time to pray with each one individually. Many shared their brokenness, how they had lost their children. Most were prostitutes. Many of them broke down and cried and we held them for long periods of time as they sobbed and sobbed in our arms. WE TRULY BROUGHT THEM THE MESSAGE OF HOPE. The church is only three blocks away. We let them know they are always there to help them. We invited them to come to the open-air meeting. That night some of them came and we were so happy to see them.

On our recent Jamaica trip…

Hundreds of children heard the Gospel. We gave out 900 nutritious meals and blessed every child with a toy. What a joy to share the Jesus and the message of salvation with the poor, hurting, hopeless and unchurched. We helped people experience the love of Jesus, and many gave their hearts to the Lord.
God gave us favor to do Miracle Rallies and daily children’s crusades, as well as give out desperately needed food and clothing to both adults and children. We took the salvation message right out onto some of the most crime-ridden streets of the country and even shared God’s loving hope and comfort to an entire family who had recently experienced an unspeakable crime.
There were great breakthroughs. The way opened to assist in planting a new church there. We’ve added that church to those which Channel of Love is already supporting in Jamaica on an ongoing basis.

At our Washington state Tent Revival…

Some local churches came together with Channel of Love, to provide wonderful ways to reach to the lost and unchurched, as well as the body of Christ.
Overall attendance was 1400.  We had 33 people accept Jesus, and 21 rededicate their lives to the Lord. Many more received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit.
An amazing bounty of gifts was given out at our final day outreach. Over 240 people were blessed with furniture, clothing and groceries.
We saw many breakthroughs. One man came out of a wheelchair. Lives were powerfully impacted by the power of God as people accepted Jesus into their hearts. People coming by in the neighborhood stopped to see what we were doing.

We are much aware that the prayers and gifts of many of you made the Jamaica trip and Tent Revival possible.
We welcome your continuing love and support and invite others to join us in helping to keep our many current and new projects going.

We are all such privileged children of the God (1John 3:1), blessed to be able to love and serve Him.
